Galar Pokemon to Join Pokemon GO in New Event

Get ready, Pokemon GO trainers! The highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line, featuring Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight, is set to make its grand debut during the Steely Resolve event on January 21, 2025. This event marks a thrilling addition to the growing roster of Galar region Pokemon available in the game, a moment fans have been eagerly awaiting.

The excitement began with the launch of Pokemon GO's Dual Destiny Season in December 2024, where a new loading screen featuring Rookidee and Corviknight sparked intrigue and anticipation. Despite their appearance, their official introduction was kept under wraps until now, building up the excitement for their arrival in the augmented reality world of Pokemon GO.

Bonuses:

• The maximum number of sets you can play per day will increase from five to 20, allowing for a total of 100 battles from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time.

The Steely Resolve event will also feature Mega raids and one- and five-star raids, with Deoxys in its Attack and Defense Formes and Dialga. Hatching 2km eggs during the event could reward trainers with Shieldon, Carbink, Mareanie, or Rookidee. In addition to these exciting features, the event will offer new Field Research tasks, $5 Paid Timed Research, Showcases, and web store offers. Pokemon that evolve during the event, such as Machoke, Croconaw, Wooper, Lickitung, Corvisquire, and Paldean Wooper, will learn special featured attacks, adding another layer of strategy to your gameplay.

As the year kicks off, Pokemon GO players have a packed schedule of events to look forward to. Alongside the debut of the Corviknight line, January will see the return of Shadow Raids, featuring Shadow Ho-Oh, and the introduction of new Dynamax raids with the Legendary Birds of Kanto from January 20 to February 3.
