How To Get Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered
Unlocking the Flare Knife is achievable relatively early in your journey through Freedom Wars Remastered. Once you reach Level 003 Code Clearance, make your way to Zakka in The Warren. Zakka's inventory includes a range of combat essentials, with the Flare Knife available for purchase at 3,000 Entitlement Points.
To arm yourself with the Flare Knife, navigate to the Loadout menu within the Personal Responsibility Portal. Look for an available slot under Combat Items. If you've acquired a Flare Knife, it will be listed, ready for you to equip and bring into battle.
How To Use Flare Knife In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Flare Knife is described as a reusable yet one-time-use per operation tool specifically designed for severing Abductor parts. This feature is particularly beneficial for players who prefer wielding Polearms or Heavy Melee weapons, as it allows them to sever Abductor limbs without switching to Light Melee weapons. Remember, you'll need to repurchase the Flare Knife for each new Operation.
To effectively use the Flare Knife, first, lock onto the severable part of the Abductor and use your Thorn to pull yourself close to that segment. With the Flare Knife equipped in your active slot, you'll have the option to initiate severing. This action will prompt a quick QTE (Quick Time Event) where you must rapidly press a designated button. Successfully depleting the QTE bar results in the part being severed. However, be vigilant, as the Abductor might attempt to disrupt you by leaping or crashing into a wall.
When engaging in online multiplayer, coordinating with your team to repeatedly snare the Abductor can significantly simplify the severing process, enhancing your chances of success.
