In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for operations is key to success. While your weapons and Thrones might not change as frequently, Combat Items are crucial consumables that offer a variety of tactical advantages. These items are finite, and while you might gain some by completing operations, you often won't gather enough for the next mission. At the game's outset, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time. Let's explore how to overcome these challenges.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip more Combat Items, you first need to secure the appropriate Entitlements. While in your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and choose "Claim Entitlements". Navigate to the Equipment section and slide over to the right to find the One-Item Permit at the top. The subsequent permits below this will enable you to equip up to a total of four Combat Items.
These story-based permits become available quickly, and by reaching CODE level 3, you'll have the opportunity to purchase all four. Note that higher-level permits will only appear after you've acquired the preceding one. When you equip a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll have access to the entire stack you possess at the start of the Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can carry one Combat Item, which can be used at its discretion, providing an extra layer of tactical flexibility.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you progress beyond the initial missions in the main story, you'll unlock access to The Warren, a central HUB area. Here, you'll find Zakka, a store located on the upper story along the right side. Besides purchasing weapons, you can select the "Buy Items" option to access the Munitions and Medical Supplies lists.
- Munitions include items that directly damage enemies during combat.
- Medical Supplies cover items that heal, cure ailments, or replenish ammunition.
Each Combat Item is priced individually, and buying in bulk can quickly deplete your Entitlement Points. Therefore, if you need numerous Medkits, consider donating old resources to gather more points. While Operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, this isn't a dependable method for farming them due to the time required and the risk of using more items than you receive.
