What’s In Store In The Reload Mode Of Fortnite?

Curious about what the Reload mode brings to the table? It’s a thrilling twist on squad survival. As long as one member of your squad remains standing, you've got a chance to make a comeback. However, a full squad wipe-out is game over, no exceptions. Whether you prefer Battle Royale or Zero Build, your goal remains the same: be the last squad standing.

Set on a compact island, the Reload mode excludes drivable vehicles but compensates with a treasure trove of unvaulted loot. You'll encounter classics like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler. Victory Crowns are still up for grabs, and when rebooted, you'll come back equipped with a common Assault Rifle and some wood in Build mode. The action intensifies with the Reboot Timer, which starts at 30 seconds and can increase to 40 as the match progresses. You and your teammates can reduce this time by taking down opponents. If you're eliminated, you can choose to initiate your reboot immediately.

When You Get Eliminated

Elimination in the Reload mode adds a strategic layer to the game. Upon getting eliminated, you drop Small Shield Potions, assorted ammo, and 50 units of each building material in Build mode, keeping the battle intense and resourceful.

The Fortnite Reload mode also introduces engaging intro quests that offer substantial XP boosts. Complete three quests to earn the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six for the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine to secure the NaNa Bath Back Bling. Achieve a Victory Royale, and you'll unlock The Rezzbrella Glider.
