Epic Games has officially unveiled the exciting new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, titled "Wanted." This season dives into a thrilling heist theme, complete with gun-toting villains, gold-filled vans, and explosive bank vaults—everything you need for a high-octane robbery experience.

Set to kick off on February 21, the "Wanted" season will feature a unique collaboration with the legendary fighting franchise Mortal Kombat. Fans can look forward to Sub-Zero joining the Battle Pass, perfectly complementing the season's heist theme in the skins' design. This collaboration is timely, aligning with the promotion of the upcoming film, Mortal Kombat 2, which stars Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana.
The new skins will be available for purchase using V-Bucks, Fortnite's premium currency, with each character costing the standard 1,500 V-Bucks.

Confirmed returning items include the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons remain unconfirmed, speculation is rife among players, especially recalling the previous heist-themed season (Chapter 4 Season 4). Rumors suggest potential returns of the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler, though these are yet to be officially announced.
A highly anticipated feature of this season is Smart Building, an innovative mechanic that predicts the structure players need based on their aim direction, enhancing gameplay dynamics significantly.
The season's heist theme also introduces a revamped gameplay mechanic, replacing keycards with vault breaches. Players will now use Meltanite, Fortnite's thermite equivalent, to crack open vaults and claim their rewards, adding a new layer of strategy and excitement to the game.
