Eerie Worlds: A Thrilling Tactical CCG Featuring Global Folklore Monsters

Rifts are rarely good news in gaming, but Avid Games has embraced the chaos with their highly anticipated Eerie Worlds, a captivating follow-up to Cards, the Universe and Everything. This tactical collectible card game (CCG) offers a monster-themed adventure packed with learning and fun.

Prepare to encounter a visually stunning array of monsters drawn from real-world mythology and folklore. Avid Games has meticulously crafted a diverse roster of creatures.

From Japanese Yokai like Jikininki and Kuchisake-onna to Slavic creatures such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav, Eerie Worlds boasts a truly global bestiary. Bigfoot, Mothman, the Nandi Bear, El Chupacabra, and countless others, both terrifying and intriguing, await. Each card includes detailed, well-researched descriptions, enriching the gameplay experience.

The game features four distinct Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes, adding significant strategic depth. Monsters may share certain properties while differing in others, leading to complex tactical choices.

Your monster collection, known as your Grimoire, can be enhanced by merging duplicate cards. The game launches with 160 base cards, with many more accessible through merging and further additions planned for the future.

Avid Games has confirmed the addition of two new Hordes in the coming months, ensuring Eerie Worlds remains a constantly evolving challenge.

Gameplay involves constructing a deck of nine monster cards and one world card. Battles unfold over nine 30-second turns, demanding strategic decisions concerning mana management, synergy exploitation, and more.
