Evil Lair Defense: Free To Slay Arrives on Android

Castle Doombad is back and better than ever! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, offers a thrilling return.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a simple remake. However, they cleverly split the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic for PC and consoles. Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version with updated content, will launch on Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Evil!

Embrace your villainous side in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay! Construct a fiendish lair while thwarting heroic do-gooders. Use traps and minions as your weapons – a refreshing change from typical tower defense games.

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) includes the original 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 traps to unlock and upgrade, and over 100 collectible items. A customizable cosmetics system, "spoils," lets you adorn your Dark Lord and lair with evil artifacts and loot, further enhanced by equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares, providing unique powers and abilities. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
