ETE Chronicle:Re JP Server Pre-Registration Opens With A Very Different Game

ETE Chronicle:Re, the revamped action game, is now open for pre-registration on its JP server! Prepare for thrilling battles across land, sea, and air, alongside a team of powerful female characters.

The original Japanese release of ETE Chronicle fell short of expectations due to its unexpected turn-based gameplay. However, the developers listened to player feedback and completely overhauled the game for its Chinese release, creating a true action experience. This updated version, ETE Chronicle:Re, replaces the original and carries over purchases from the previous game.

A World in Ruins:

ETE Chronicle:Re plunges you into a post-apocalyptic future where humanity struggles for survival. The Yggdrasil Corporation, wielding powerful Galar exosuits and the Tenkyu orbital base, has ravaged the Earth. The remaining survivors, the Humanity Alliance, fight back using advanced E.T.E. combat machines piloted by skilled female operatives. As an enforcer, your strategic choices will determine both the outcome of battles and the fates of your companions.

Fast-Paced Action:

Command a squad of four characters in dynamic, half-real-time battles. The fluid combat requires quick thinking and adaptation as you maneuver through enemy attacks.

Addressing Past Concerns:

Some players remain cautious, citing repetitive gameplay and inflexible controls in the original. Concerns included a monotonous combat loop with fixed enemy distances, preventing flanking maneuvers, and simultaneous party movement lacking individual character control. Whether ETE Chronicle:Re successfully addresses these issues remains to be seen.
