Set to launch on April 2, Last Epoch's Season 2: Tombs of the Erased is bringing a wave of exciting updates and changes to the game. Eleventh Hour Games has unveiled a comprehensive trailer that showcases the breadth of this significant update.
This season introduces the mysterious "Weavers," a faction whose presence was hinted at through various in-game items in previous seasons. Players will now have the opportunity to unlock their unique abilities through a dedicated skill tree, which will allow for timeline manipulation within monoliths during the game's advanced stages. A new feature, "Woven Echoes," will allow players to explore deeper into the lore of these intriguing characters.
New areas such as forgotten tombs and haunted cemeteries are now open for exploration, filled with challenging enemies, elite champions with unique modifiers, and plentiful loot drops. These areas are designed for players seeking high-stakes action and thrilling encounters.
In response to player feedback, significant changes have been implemented. Mastery specializations can now be switched without the need to create a new character, offering increased flexibility. The Sentinel class has undergone a thorough overhaul, with refined abilities, optimized passive trees, increased agility, and strengthened defenses to support a variety of playstyles.
Additional improvements include a revamped inventory interface, initial support for WASD controls, instant-access boss keys after completing dungeons, and refined endgame systems to boost player convenience and enjoyment.
