Epic Games Store Launches on Mobile: 20 New Games, Free Game Program

After months of anticipation, Epic Games has finally unveiled its store on mobile platforms, bringing the Epic Games Store to Android users worldwide. To celebrate this exciting launch, Epic is showering players with fantastic rewards, including free games and exclusive in-game goodies.

Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?

Epic is shining the spotlight on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Notably, Fall Guys is now playable on mobile and available for free download directly from the Epic Games Store. By downloading the Epic Games Store app and diving into these games on your mobile device, you can unlock a variety of in-game challenges. These challenges offer the chance to earn exclusive cosmetics, such as a unique Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, as well as a new Fall Guys bean costume. Additionally, you can snag a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim for both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. Keep in mind, these quests are exclusively available on mobile.

It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games

Beyond their headline titles, the Epic Games Store on mobile boasts nearly 20 third-party games from various developers. Epic has also initiated its Free Games program for mobile users. Currently, Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is available for free on Android and iOS through the Epic Games Store app, but you'll need to grab it before February 20th. Playdigious, a notable developer, has also contributed to the store’s library with Shapez and Evoland 2. They plan to add Cultist Simulator in the coming weeks. Additionally, fans of Bloons TD 6 will be pleased to know it's coming soon to the Epic Store. While the free games are currently offered on a monthly basis, Epic aims to transition to a weekly schedule later this year.

Navigating the complexities posed by Apple and Google regarding third-party app stores, Epic is making significant strides to enhance accessibility in the gaming world. What are your thoughts on these developments? We'd love to hear your comments.
