FromSoftware, the developer of Elden Ring: Nightreign, has released patch 1.01.2. This update primarily focuses on bug fixes for the Nightlords, weapon mechanics, the Guardian's Remembrance questline, and other areas.
Patch 1.01.2 is now live on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. It follows last week's 1.01.1 patch, the game's first post-launch update, which significantly eased the single-player experience. Additionally, FromSoftware recently concluded a round of server maintenance aimed at improving the online matchmaking system.
FromSoftware has confirmed that alongside the planned DLC for later this year, new features will be introduced gradually. This includes enhanced encounters with existing Nightlords, starting as early as this month.
Amid ongoing discussions about the game's single-player difficulty, the director of Elden Ring: Nightreign has revealed that he personally defeated every boss without using any Relics. He wanted to assure players that experiencing all the content "is very much possible."
We offer a wealth of Nightreign tips and tricks to help you defeat all eight Nightlord Bosses. If you're curious about unlocking the two initially locked Nightfarer Classes, be sure to read our guides on How to Unlock the Revenant and How to Unlock the Duchess, as well as How to Change Characters.
Elden Ring Nightreign update 1.01.2 patch notes:
Bug Fixes
Resolved an issue where the "Add (Magic/Lightning/Holy) to Weapon" Passive Effect, when applied to a Bow, unexpectedly increased its Physical attack power beyond intended values. Fixed a bug where certain non-direct attacks from specific weapon skills incorrectly applied the weapon's attribute attack power and status ailments. Corrected a problem where weapons with the "Projectile Damage Drop-Off Reduced" Passive Effect were not appearing in the loot pools of chests and defeated enemies. Addressed a bug that prevented the Demon Merchant from appearing under specific conditions during the "Find the Demon Merchant in Limveld" Personal Objective in the Guardian's Remembrance. Fixed an issue causing Libra, Creature of Night, to repetitively perform certain actions. Resolved a bug that could cause game instability under specific circumstances during the battle against Adel, Baron of Night. Fixed an issue where it was impossible to rescue a player near death after being grabbed by Wormface's grab attack.
NOTE: While this update addresses several bugs, we are aware that similar issues might still occur under certain conditions. We are actively working on resolving them.
