New EITC Defense Feature: Protect Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War

By SavannahMar 27,2025

Joycity has introduced an exciting new tower defense feature to *Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War*, challenging players to fortify their Fortress Gates against relentless waves of enemy ships. The East India Trading Company Defense feature puts you in the captain's seat, tasked with constructing turrets to thwart the EITC's advances and keep the notorious Captain Jack Sparrow out of their clutches.

In the latest update, you'll be defending your Territory from increasingly difficult waves of EITC assaults. To hold them off, you'll have access to four distinct types of turrets:

  • Ballista Turret: Ideal for long-range damage per second (DPS), perfect for targeting specific ships.
  • Cannon Tower: Delivers powerful area of effect (AoE) attacks, capable of hitting multiple enemies at once.
  • Flame Tower: Inflicts damage over time (DoT), burning ships slowly but effectively.
  • Hammer Tower: Slows down enemy ships, giving you more time to strategize and attack.

Strategically placing your turrets is key. Position the Ballista Turret for maximum range and DPS, or use the Cannon Tower to maximize your AoE impact. You can also opt for the Flame Tower for sustained damage or the Hammer Tower to control the pace of the enemy's advance.

Your ultimate goal is to withstand the onslaught until you reach the 5th wave. Once you do, prepare for a showdown with a formidable boss monster. Defeating this beast will unlock a bonus treasure wave, rewarding your tenacity and skill.
