In Dune: Awakening, exploration is paramount for survival. Players must traverse the dangerous dunes to collect vital resources needed for constructing shelters and vehicles, including battle-ready ornithopters. To streamline the search for resources, players can employ a scanner, and by placing probes on high ground, they can uncover crucial points of interest on the map.
These points of interest include everything from crashed spacecraft to deserted outposts. Accessing these locations often demands creativity, with tools such as grappling hooks, power belts, and specialized gear proving essential. All equipment can be enhanced at the player's base using modular components, ensuring readiness for the perils of Arrakis.
The early access launch of Dune: Awakening is scheduled for May 20, available exclusively on PC. Console versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will be released subsequently.
