REPO's developers have revealed exciting plans for future updates, including introducing a "duck bucket" to protect players from the deadly duck. Discover what's coming next and hear what Lethal Company's creator thinks about REPO.
REPO's First Update Details
Duck Bucket To Fend Off The Duck
REPO's initial update will introduce a new map and a duck bucket tool to neutralize the troublesome duck. Semiwork Studios shared these plans in a YouTube video on March 15.
REPO is a 6-player cooperative horror game where teams carefully retrieve items from terrifying environments. Players must beware of The Apex Predator - a seemingly harmless yellow duck that transforms into a monstrous attacker when disturbed.
The upcoming duck bucket will let players trap the creature, preventing it from triggering its monstrous form. New facial expressions and quality-of-life improvements are also coming.
New Map Called "The Museum" and Public Lobbies
Semiwork Studios announced "The Museum," a forthcoming map designed to challenge players' parkour skills. Extraction zones will feature visible boundaries for clarity.
The team is developing public lobbies based on player feedback, though implementation may take time due to technical challenges.
Lethal Company Creator's Advice on REPO
The game has drawn comparisons to Lethal Company since its February release. Creator Zeekers provided constructive feedback via Twitter (X) on March 15.
Zeekers praised REPO's cooperative mechanics but suggested improvements to voice chat range and level design. He noted the game shines brightest in confined spaces.
R.E.P.O., currently Steam's second best-selling game behind Counter-Strike 2, has attracted over 230,000 concurrent players.
