Dragonkin: The Banished A New Era Begins with Demo and Extensive Update Plans

Eko Software and NACON unveil a demo and detailed roadmap for their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, entering Steam Early Access. The early access launch includes the prologue and first chapter, playable with three distinct heroes: Knight, Oracle, and Barbarian. Players will also encounter four Vermplings – cooperative companions – and utilize the unique Bloodline Grid skill system. Endgame hunts and initial city hub upgrades are also included. A demo is available now through March 3rd, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest.

The developers have a robust roadmap. Spring updates will introduce new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will bring a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn's update will be a significant one, adding multiplayer support along with continued refinement of the Bloodline Grid and hub city.

In Dragonkin: The Banished, players navigate a world tainted by ancient dragon blood, leading a legendary warrior against monstrous creatures and powerful Dragonlords. Character progression is driven by character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, all enhanced by the strategic Bloodline Grid for ability customization.

Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6th, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
