GungHo Entertainment, creators of the crossover card battle game Teppen, is developing a retro-style RPG in collaboration with Disney. This new title, Disney Pixel RPG, features a vast roster of pixel art Disney characters.
Players can recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across multiple worlds, tackling challenges that blend battle, action, and rhythm elements. The game allows for character creation and customization, offering an auto-battler experience with opportunities for direct control during key moments. The storyline centers around combating strange programs that have infiltrated the pixelated Disney worlds.
This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-franchise crossovers. Given Disney's extensive library, this game promises an even broader character selection than previous projects.
