Start your journey by accepting the side quest "Lackey" from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's home, located to the west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can initiate the quest by speaking with Vitek, who is just southeast of the house, as marked by the B on the map above. This sets you on a path northward, where you'll encounter Vostatek being attacked by wolves.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

After rescuing Vostatek from the wolves, he'll need your help to reach his camping spot where he left his horse, Pepik. The journey is straightforward as long as you follow Vostatek's directions, but keep an eye on your stamina. If it depletes too much, you'll drop Vostatek, complicating matters.

Upon arriving at the campsite, you'll discover that Pepik is missing. Your next task is to track down Pepik by following the clues scattered along the path. When you're close to a clue, a prompt will appear, allowing you to examine it. Continue this process until you reach a poacher's camp.

As Vostatek suspected, Pepik has been taken by poachers in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You'll find him at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers tend to move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups, making the fight more manageable. Those on the outskirts of the camp are easier targets, and if you can isolate them, most will plead for mercy before you finish them off. You might choose to bypass the tougher opponents within the camp and swiftly ride away with Pepik before they can react. Be mindful that there's no chance to rest between the wolf encounter and finding Pepik, so your health might be low depending on how the initial fight went.

Once you've reclaimed Pepik, return him to Vostatek's camp. You'll then have the option to accompany Vostatek back to his home using fast travel. Upon completion, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and a permanent place to stay, adding convenience to your adventures.

With Pepik safely returned to Vostatek in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, you're free to pursue other quests or delve into romantic storylines. The rewards from this quest also provide you with the means to purchase additional equipment, enhancing your character's capabilities.
