The leak's timing, just hours before Sony's 40-minute State of Play presentation, strongly hints at an official announcement. While Sony hasn't revealed the event's contents, the Digimon Story: Time Stranger pre-orders increase the likelihood of a Digimon reveal.
The Digimon Story series, originating with the Nintendo DS title in the mid-2000s, boasts a rich history across various platforms. Recent installments include Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth (2015), Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (2017), and their 2019 Complete Edition. These RPGs typically involve befriending and battling Digimon.
