Diablo IV Season 5 introduces 15 brand-new Unique items! Data mined from the recent Public Test Realm (PTR) reveals a significant boost to the game's endgame loot. These coveted items, the highest tier in Diablo IV, offer significant attribute, affix, and visual enhancements.
Season 5 will add five "General" Unique items—usable by all classes—including the Crown of Lucian (helmet), Endurant Faith (gloves), Locran's Talisman (amulet), Rakanoth'a Wake (boots), and Shard of Verathiel (sword). The Crown of Lucian boasts an impressive 1,156 armor, while the gloves and boots provide 463 armor each. The amulet grants a 25% elemental resistance boost, and the sword delivers a substantial 1,838 damage per second.
Beyond the General Uniques, each class receives two exclusive new items:
New Unique Items by Class:
- Barbarian: Unbroken Chain (amulet), The Third Blade (sword)
- Druid: Bjornfang's Tusks (gloves), The Basilisk (staff)
- Rogue: Shroud of Khanduras (chest armor), The Umbracrux (dagger)
- Sorcerer: Axial Conduit (pants), Vox Omnium (staff)
- Necromancer: Path of Trag'Oul (boots), The Mortacrux (dagger)
Obtaining these powerful items has also been improved. Unique and Mythic Unique items are now obtainable through Whisper Caches, the Purveyor of Curiosities, and Tortured Gifts in Helltide. While they can drop from regular monsters, Blizzard emphasizes that Infernal Hordes, the new endgame mode, offers the highest drop rate. This update significantly enhances the chances of acquiring these highly sought-after additions to your arsenal.
