Diablo 4 Season 5 Unveils Consumable Delights

Diablo IV Season 5 is bringing exciting new additions, including a fresh batch of consumables specifically designed for the upcoming Infernal Hordes endgame mode. This roguelite-style mode challenges players to survive waves of enemies within a 90-second timeframe, offering progressively challenging modifiers and lucrative rewards.

Recent discoveries from the Public Test Realm (PTR) reveal four new consumables: Antipathy (a rare anointment boosting resistance), Blackblood (a common anointment enhancing a random core stat), Vitriol (a magical anointment increasing damage over time), and the Triune Anointment Cache (containing anointments, rare gear, and crafting materials). These consumables are unique to Infernal Hordes, and intriguingly, their crafting recipes are also being introduced.

While the PTR, open until July 2nd, allows players to experiment, many details remain shrouded in mystery. How these consumables are acquired, their usage costs, and the specific crafting materials required are all yet to be fully revealed. The addition of these consumables, alongside the Infernal Hordes mode and the Abyssal Scrolls (which function similarly to Helltide's Profane Mindcage Elixir), promises a significant expansion of Diablo IV's gameplay experience. The existing consumables – healing potions, elixirs, and incense – will be augmented by these exciting new additions, enhancing strategic options and rewarding skillful play within this intense new mode.
