"Dead by Daylight Reintroduces 2v8 Mode in Resident Evil Crossover"

Dead by Daylight has teamed up with the Resident Evil series to introduce an exhilarating new 2v8 mode that's sure to captivate fans of both franchises. This special event brings iconic villains from Capcom’s renowned series into the mix, adding a thrilling twist to the gameplay experience.

Players can now step into the shoes of two notorious antagonists: Nemesis and Albert Wesker, also known as The Puppeteer. They'll square off against a team of Resident Evil’s most iconic heroes, including:

  • Jill Valentine
  • Leon Kennedy
  • Claire Redfield
  • Ada Wong

These intense confrontations unfold within the familiar confines of the Raccoon City Police Station, creating a hauntingly immersive environment.

What makes this collaboration particularly unique is the unprecedented teaming up of Nemesis and Wesker in this type of gameplay. For the first time, players can experience these two villains working together, creating a one-of-a-kind experience. Both characters bring their signature infection-based abilities to the table: Nemesis leverages the T-Virus, while Wesker harnesses the power of Uroboros to target Survivors.

In the 2v8 mode, gamers have the opportunity to collect special herbs inspired by the Resident Evil series. Some herbs provide healing for Survivors, while yellow herbs are used to repair hooks. Interestingly, Killers can also gather herbs, which grant them a temporary speed increase, adding a layer of strategy to the gameplay.

Whether you’re new to the 2v8 mode or a seasoned player, there are important changes to note. The traditional Powers and Perks have been replaced with a new Class System, which introduces a variety of strategic options for both Killers and Survivors, enhancing the depth of gameplay.

The Dead by Daylight x Resident Evil collaboration will be available until February 25, giving players plenty of time to dive into this thrilling crossover. Don't miss out on this unique blend of horror and strategy!
