It's almost over! No, not Dead Cells itself, but the free updates are coming to an end. Since 2018, Dead Cells has consistently delivered fresh content, but this incredible run is nearing its conclusion. Let's explore the final updates for Dead Cells Mobile: Clean Cut and The End is Near, now available on Android. While updates will cease after these releases, the game remains playable.
What's Included in the Final Updates?
These final updates bring a cursed twist to the already challenging gameplay. Four new weapons are introduced, including the giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde sword. The Misericorde deals massive critical damage to low-health enemies, but failure to finish them off inflicts a curse. The Anathema, a heavy ranged weapon, explodes on impact—and also curses you if it hits anything! Balancing this increased risk is the new Indulgence skill, which unleashes a powerful beam of light, capable of purging some of your accumulated curses.
Beyond weapons, the updates introduce exciting new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, along with 40 brand-new heads for your character, and a helpful NPC allowing you to swap them at will.

New Mutations and Enemies
The updates also introduce a selection of challenging new mutations: Cursed Flask lets you use health flasks without consuming charges; Damned Vigor briefly prevents death, allowing a final strike to save yourself; and Demonic Strength boosts damage while cursed.
Prepare to face formidable new enemies. The Sore Loser curses you upon death and clings to you; The Curser launches guided cursed skulls and slashes at close range; and the terrifying Doom Bringer can instantly kill you if you accumulate over 50 curses.
