DC's All-Star Superman Now an Audiobook with Full Cast

All-Star Superman, often hailed as one of the greatest Superman comics ever created, is set to captivate fans once again through a new medium. DC and Penguin Random House have joined forces to bring the iconic story to life as a full-cast audiobook. This adaptation of the work originally penned by Grant Morrison and illustrated by Frank Quitely promises to deliver an immersive listening experience. Frank Quitely has contributed a new cover illustration, showcasing his continued involvement with the project.

Set in a standalone universe, All-Star Superman follows the Man of Steel, Kal-El, as he confronts his imminent mortality after a dangerous encounter with the sun. The narrative unfolds with Superman revealing his secret identity to Lois Lane and embarking on a series of heroic challenges akin to the 12 Labors of Hercules. The story culminates in a dramatic final confrontation with his arch-nemesis, Lex Luthor.

PlayThe All-Star Superman audiobook is slated for release on June 24, 2025, strategically timed one month before the theatrical debut of James Gunn's Superman film.
