Dark & Darker Mobile to Soft Launch in Canada Next Month

Krafton's eagerly awaited mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular extraction dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, is gearing up for a soft launch in Canada on February 5th. Fans around the globe won't have to wait long either, as a worldwide launch is expected within the first half of this year. If you haven't yet, you can still sign up for pre-registration on the official website, where new features and alterations are also being teased.

For those new to the game, Dark and Darker blends the thrill of an extraction shooter with the depth of a dungeon crawler. Players can venture into the sprawling dungeon either solo or as part of a group, embodying various classes such as fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, bards, and more. Your mission? To navigate through the dungeon, fend off monstrous threats, and outsmart other loot-hungry adventurers.

Following its successful debut on PC, Ironmace's title caught Krafton's attention, leading to the development of this mobile version. With the global launch on the horizon, Krafton is set to introduce significant enhancements to Dark and Darker Mobile. Key among these are updates to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, designed to improve the experience of exiting the dungeon. Additionally, the game's structures will be overhauled to better facilitate party play. Class differentiation is also on the agenda, with plans to enhance basic attacks and combat mechanics, alongside a broader range of weapons and skills for players to master.
