Crunchyroll Rolls Out "White Day: A Labyrinth Named School" Worldwide

Crunchyroll has now made White Day: A Labyrinth Named School available through its Android Game Vault. Originally a Korean cult classic from 2001, White Day remains deeply unsettling. The remake for Android first launched in South Korea back in November 2015.

Globally, the game was released in 2015 under the title White Day: The School. It was created for mobile by ROI Games (also referred to as Sonnori) and Gachyon Soft. In 2017, a version for Windows and PS4 was released, published in the West by PQube.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is a survival horror experience

You are trapped overnight inside a haunted high school and must survive using only your wits and a flashlight. You take on the role of Hee-Min Lee, a new student at Yeondu High School, who sneaks in one night to deliver a present for his crush.

But just as he does, the school locks down, plunging everything into a nightmare. A dangerous janitor begins hunting you, and restless spirits give chase. At the same time, you must uncover secrets, solve puzzles, and find an escape.

Instead of heavy combat or jump scares, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School builds fear through atmosphere and suspense. Its pitch-black hallways are lit only by your flashlight. And because puzzle answers change with each playthrough, you can’t depend on memory or walkthroughs.

Take a look at the game in the video below.

It Features Multiple Endings

The game offers nine unique endings, shaped by the relationships you forge with other students trapped inside. Saving them, ignoring them, or putting them in harm's way alters the story’s direction and the horrors you encounter.

Touch controls are responsive, and the game also works with Bluetooth controllers. If you're a Crunchyroll subscriber, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
