Campaign 3 is nearing its highly anticipated finale, with the episode count remaining uncertain. The previous episode ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, leaving fans eager for resolution. The conclusion of Campaign 3 is imminent, potentially followed by a new campaign utilizing the Daggerheart TTRPG system.
The January 9th episode was canceled due to the direct impact of the wildfires on the Critical Role team. Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray were forced to evacuate, while Dani Carr narrowly escaped harm. Tragically, producer Kyle Shire lost his home and belongings. The remaining cast members have reported their safety.
While a return to streaming on January 16th is the current goal, additional delays are understandable given the ongoing situation. The Critical Role community is urged to remain patient and support those affected by the fires.
In line with this, the Critical Role Foundation is contributing $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. This demonstrates the show's commitment to its community, reflecting their motto: "Don't forget to love each other."
