Parallel Experiment: A Co-op Crime Thriller Puzzler Coming to Steam and Mobile
Eleven Puzzles' highly anticipated co-op crime thriller puzzler, Parallel Experiment, is set to launch on Steam this March. A mobile demo for iOS and Android is also planned for later in the year, with a full mobile release to follow.
This unique co-op experience, reminiscent of titles like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, casts players as detectives Ally and Old Dog. Players, often situated in separate locations, must collaborate, sharing clues and solving puzzles together.
Featuring over 80 puzzles, an in-game notebook for clue tracking, cooperative dialogue, and a stylish noir comic book aesthetic, Parallel Experiment adds a layer of playful interaction. Players can even playfully annoy each other by knocking on windows or poking their partner.
What's in the box?!
Cross-platform play is a key feature, allowing for seamless collaboration between desktop and mobile players. While desktop players can easily communicate via platforms like Discord, mobile players offer unique opportunities for creative communication and distraction within the same physical space.
Although the co-op puzzle genre isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from extensive testing to optimize the mobile experience.
