Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The 2016 Suspects Pack features the beloved characters Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This pack focuses solely on these characters, allowing you the flexibility to integrate them into any scenario you desire. There's no restriction to specific crime scenes or case files, so you can mix and match these nostalgic favorites with the newer 2023 cast if you wish.

The community of Clue enthusiasts has been vocal about their desire to see these classic characters return, especially after the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's great to see that Marmalade Game Studio has responded to fan feedback by bringing back these cherished suspects.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new game mode called the Retro Rules Set. This mode harks back to the original 1949 rules and is available to players at no extra cost. The Retro Rules Set reintroduces classic mechanics that alter the way you move and make accusations. For instance, tokens will start at designated spots on the board, and Miss Scarlet will always take the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in.

In this mode, you can only make accusations while in a room, and Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay.
