Thanks to the March 10th v0.13.0 update, you can now control the length of your in-game days. This feature is available to all players, regardless of their progress.
First, load your save game from the Main Menu. Once back on your farm, open the Pause Menu and click the **Settings tab** (the cog wheel icon at the bottom). Select **‘Accessibility’** from the left-hand menu. At the top, you'll find the **‘Day Time Speed’** option, initially set to ‘Standard.’
Selecting this option will bring up a warning: adjusting the daytime speed might affect NPC schedules, which are optimized for the ‘Standard’ setting. If you're okay with potential schedule changes, you can adjust the meter to either **‘Longer’** or **‘Longest’**. ‘Longer’ provides a noticeable increase in daytime hours, while ‘Longest’ offers even more time.

To activate the new daytime duration, simply **sleep in your bed** until the day changes. Repeat this process to switch between the different speed settings.
In cozy farming sims like *Fields of Mistria* (and *Stardew Valley*), time management is crucial. Normally, you have a limited time to complete daily tasks. Scheduling is essential, and lengthy tasks like mining often consume an entire day. While the Teleportation Chalice helps, the v0.13.0 update provides a fantastic solution to this common challenge.
