Early in Freedom Wars Remastered, accessing the Cell Garden becomes crucial for the main storyline and subsequent resource farming. This safe haven offers a more controlled environment compared to standard operations. While multiple Cell Gardens exist, accessing them follows a consistent pattern regardless of level. This guide details their location and resource-gathering mechanics.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered
Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story initiates the search for the Cell Garden. Begin in Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). Locate a small, elevator-like room in the left corner. This isn't an elevator; interacting with it transports you to 2-E165 (Enzo's location).
From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that finally unlocks the Cell Garden.
This route remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-main quest, access to any Cell Garden becomes unrestricted, though obtaining the Quick-Travel Entitlement is highly recommended.
Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.
How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered
The initial Cell Garden story mission differs from subsequent uses. Here's the standard Cell Garden experience:
- A one-minute time limit applies before expulsion.
- The room's layout is randomized each visit.
- Eight resource orbs (small green spheres) are scattered throughout.
Purchasing Entitlements from the Liberty Window extends your Cell Garden time. Some layouts present puzzles that may complicate resource collection. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute limit, unlocks at CODE level 3.
