Onimusha: Way of the Sword: A 2026 Edo Period Adventure
Onimusha: Way of the Sword, slated for a 2026 release, will feature a new protagonist wielding an Oni Gauntlet to battle Genma. The game aims for compelling characters, a historically accurate Kyoto setting, and intense sword combat accessible to players of all skill levels.
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remaster Coming in 2025
A remastered version of the 2002 classic, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, will launch in 2025, bridging the gap until Onimusha: Way of the Sword's arrival.
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2: Arkveld Awaits
The second Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta will introduce the flagship monster, Arkveld, in a challenging quest. Other additions include a Gypceros hunt, a training area, Private Lobbies, and Online Single Player mode. Data from the first beta will transfer, and the Character Creator, Story Trial, and Doshaguma hunt return. Cross-play will be enabled. The beta runs:
- February 6-9, 7 PM PT to 6:59 PM PT
- February 13-16, 7 PM PT to 6:59 PM PT
Character data transfers to the full game (February 28th release), but progress does not. Participants receive a special pendant.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 launches May 16, 2025, featuring Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Fight 2000 Pro, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, Project Justice, and Plasma Sword.
