Jack Quaid, known for his role in "The Boys," has expressed a keen interest in starring in a BioShock movie. During a Reddit AMA coinciding with the release of his new film, Novocaine, Quaid praised BioShock as one of his all-time favorite games, citing its "rich lore" as a perfect fit for a TV or movie adaptation.

"I would actually love to be in a live-action adaptation of BioShock - one of my favorite games of all time," he stated. "I think there's such a rich lore to that game that could be explored in a TV or movie adaptation."

The possibility of a BioShock movie being produced has been a topic of interest, especially after producer Roy Lee's comments in July of the previous year. Lee mentioned that due to leadership changes, the BioShock adaptation had undergone a "reconfiguration," aiming for a "more personal" approach to the film. This shift was partly influenced by Netflix's decision to lower the budget, leading to a smaller-scale project. While specific plot details remain under wraps, Francis Lawrence, known for directing "The Hunger Games," remains attached to direct the film.

Quaid also touched on his striking resemblance to Max Payne, a character whose likeness is based on Remedy writer Sam Lake. Fans have noted similarities between Quaid's appearance in Novocaine and Max Payne, sparking discussions online. However, Quaid admitted he is less familiar with Max Payne, despite his love for Rockstar games, and plans to play the upcoming remake.

Beyond BioShock, Quaid revealed his passion for video games, particularly those from FromSoftware. He shared his experiences with challenging titles like Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring, highlighting his use of Reddit for tips and tricks to conquer the games' notorious bosses. "I'm a huge video game nerd," he confessed, emphasizing his obsession with FromSoftware's challenging gameplay.
