Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Streamlines Camo Progression with New Tracking Feature
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces Camo Challenge Tracking, a significant quality-of-life improvement for players striving for Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter camos. This feature simplifies the often-daunting camo unlock process.
The new system allows players to manually track up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges simultaneously. Access your progress in-game, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu. The tracker also proactively notifies players of near-completion for any challenge, even those not actively tracked.
Tracking Challenges:
To track a camo or calling card challenge, navigate to the desired challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracker. Monitor your progress during matches without interrupting gameplay.
Untracked challenges nearing completion will also be displayed. A complete list of near-complete camos and calling cards is available in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.
Simplified Camo Unlocking:
The update also simplifies camo unlocking. Previously, unlocking a special camo required nine preceding military camos. This requirement is now reduced to five, although two special camos are still needed for mastery camos.
This change directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch's responsiveness to player concerns enhances the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
