BioWare has confirmed it's not currently developing any downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. According to a Rolling Stone report, the game is considered complete, and BioWare's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect title. While no further details on potential Veilguard DLC were provided, creative director John Epler did comment on the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection.
Epler expressed enthusiasm for the idea, but acknowledged the significant challenges involved. Unlike the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which utilized a consistent engine across its titles, remastering the original Dragon Age trilogy would be complex due to the use of different, proprietary EA engines. He stated, "It’s something that’s not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never." Therefore, while a remastered collection remains a possibility, it's not currently in development. The immediate priority for BioWare is the next installment in the Mass Effect franchise.
