Battlefield Beta: Thousands Get Early Access

By SophiaMar 13,2025

EA has unveiled Battlefield Labs, a closed internal beta program offering sneak peeks at upcoming Battlefield titles. A brief gameplay snippet from the pre-alpha build has already been shared.

Battlefield Labs participants, bound by NDA, will test core mechanics and concepts—some of which may not appear in the final game. Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be available. Early testing will prioritize combat and destruction, followed by balance adjustments.

Pre-registration is open for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A few thousand players will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with broader regional access planned later.

Development is reportedly in a "key stage," though no release date has been announced. Four studios—DICE, Motive, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect—are collaborating on the project.
