Battlecruisers Adds Trans Edition in 4-Year Update

Battlecruisers marks its four-year anniversary, prompting Mecha Weka developers to launch their most substantial update yet – the 'Trans Edition.' This release introduces an array of fresh single-player and multiplayer content.

What's New in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

Three formidable new Cruisers join the battle: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith. The update also includes two strategic Buildings (Cannon and Sledgehammer) and two tactical Units (SpyPlane and MissileFighter).

Existing Cruisers receive enhanced customization options with three innovative Bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler.

Skirmish mode expands with the addition of Man o' War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime selections. PvP matches now feature a countdown timer, while aircraft contrails dynamically match player colors for improved visibility.

Comprehensive balance adjustments affect numerous units. Notable improvements include the Raptor's shield capacity and recharge rate increasing from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead's health boosting from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret gains a damage increase from 40 to 60, though its effective range decreases from 19 to 16.

The update introduces visually striking underwater transparency effects, allowing players to survey their defeated enemies' wreckage with enhanced clarity. Ocean environments now feature improved shading, while Cruiser and Ship destruction animations have received significant visual upgrades.
