Auroria: A playful journey adds to a list of burgeoning Palworld-likes

By LillianFeb 11,2025

Auroria: A Playful Adventure, a new game launching July 10th in the SEA region, blends classic survival mechanics with creature collection, echoing the popular Palworld formula.

This July 10th release combines base building, planetary exploration, resource gathering, and the captivating element of capturing adorable creatures. The gameplay is straightforward: a familiar blend of crafting, survival, base construction, and battling hostile wildlife, all enhanced by the ability to collect and train creatures as companions, reminiscent of Palworld's core gameplay loop. While the trailer (below) showcases Auroria's charm, details on potential forced labor mechanics remain undisclosed.

The success of Palworld has clearly inspired other developers. Auroria aims to expand on this creature-collecting survival genre, following in the footsteps of titles like Amikin Survival which also capitalized on the trend. While a mobile version of Palworld hasn't materialized, Auroria seeks to further refine and develop the concept.
