Wang Yue, a fantasy ARPG, is gearing up for its technical testing phase after securing its publishing license in China. This initial test run will involve a select group of players to identify bugs and gather feedback on gameplay before the game's official release.
A Fractured World
Wang Yue's technical test introduces a world ravaged by a malevolent sun, resulting in two distinct continents suspended in a gravity-defying reality. Tian Yue City, a breathtaking inverted metropolis, floats above a ruined landscape, the remnants of a lost civilization. Players assume the role of Qing Wu, a mysterious character thrust into this chaotic world after a betrayal. Qing Wu's journey is shrouded in intrigue: the sun, once a harbinger of destruction, is now revered; the upside-down city holds untold secrets; and shadowy figures seek Qing Wu's demise.
Player Agency and Dynamic Interactions
Wang Yue breaks free from conventional open-world tropes. Forget repetitive quests; this game prioritizes exploration and player-driven narratives. Soar through the skies above Tian Yue City or delve into the secrets hidden within the ruins below—the world responds to your choices.
Non-player characters (NPCs) exhibit dynamic reactions to player actions. Engage in disruptive behavior, and you might find yourself facing the authorities. Conversely, acts of kindness will be met with gratitude.
The developers actively seek player input. Future discussions, design contests, and community events will provide opportunities to shape the game's development. Registration for the technical test is now open on the official website.
