Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut in Pokémon Go this month, offering a mix of adorable and formidable encounters. The Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, introduces the snack-sized Dragon/Grass-type Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Using Tart Apples will evolve Applin into Flapple, while Sweet Apples will transform it into Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, particularly near Mossy Lures, and may also trigger Applin encounters.
During the Sweet Discoveries event, you can encounter wild Pokémon like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will provide additional opportunities to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, offers Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version also includes extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional encounters with Applin.
Don't miss the chance to grab the Applin Headband and Apron from the shop, and keep an eye on PokéStop Showcases for themed Pokémon.
