Oni Press has recently secured the rights to the Adventure Time franchise, and they’ve already launched fresh comic book adventures starring Finn, Jake, and the whole crew. Oni is gearing up to launch the next big story arc in the monthly series, “Friends to the End,” and IGN has an exclusive first look at the cover art for issue #5.

Adventure Time #5 is written by Nick Winn (Silver Sprocket’s Bloody Mary) and illustrated by Kenzie Bugg (Adult Swim’s Tuca and Bertie). Both creators also contributed variant covers for this issue, along with Shelli Paroline, Braden Lamb, and Agustin Morales. Issue #5 also includes a bonus story by Derek Ballard, a writer and storyboard artist from the Adventure Time animated series.
