Adin Ross Recommits to Kick, Hints at "Bigger" Plans
Popular streamer Adin Ross has definitively stated his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform. Following a period of absence in 2024 that fueled speculation about his departure, Ross' recent return and subsequent statements confirm his long-term commitment to Kick.
Ross, known for his high-profile presence and sometimes controversial content, joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, alongside other prominent streamers, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While he enjoyed success on the platform throughout 2023, his unexplained absence in 2024 sparked rumors, including speculation of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven.
However, a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven, and a subsequent tweet, dispelled these rumors. Ross explicitly stated his intention to stay on Kick "for good," ending months of uncertainty. His return to streaming on the weekend of January 4, 2025, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, further solidified this commitment.
Ambitious Future Plans
Ross' announcement also included a tantalizing hint of "something even bigger" in the works. While specifics remain undisclosed, many believe this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he intends to expand with Kick's support. Given previous legal challenges with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024, the success of future Brand Risk ventures will be closely watched.
Ross' decision is a significant boost for both his fanbase and Kick itself. The platform, fueled by partnerships with top streamers, continues its ambitious growth trajectory, with co-founder Bijan Tehrani previously expressing aspirations to either surpass or acquire Twitch. While a challenging goal, Kick's current momentum makes it a plausible ambition.
