Cyber warfare often falls short of its exciting potential, but 868-Hack successfully captures the essence of hacking. Similar to the acclaimed PC game Uplink, it masterfully balances the complexity of programming and information warfare with intuitive gameplay. The original game effectively delivered on its premise, offering a unique and engaging experience.
868-Back expands upon its predecessor with a larger world to explore, revamped and innovative programs (Progs), and enhanced visuals and audio. Players will once again chain together Progs to execute complex actions, a core mechanic that remains central to the gameplay.
Conquer the Digital Frontier
868-Hack's gritty art style and cyberpunk aesthetic are undeniably appealing. While crowdfunding projects inherently involve risk, this sequel deserves support. We wholeheartedly wish developer Michael Brough the best in bringing 868-Back to fruition. The potential for a successful launch is high, given the original's strong reception and the promising enhancements planned for the sequel.
