Subscriptions automatically renew monthly (or every six months/year, depending on plan) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If auto-renewal remains active, your account will be charged for the renewal.

You can manage subscriptions and disable auto-renewal in your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. Cancellation does not apply to the current active period. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
