Five Dice is a dice game closely resembling YAHTZEE*, Yachty, Yatzy, and similar titles. It closely follows classic Yahtzee rules. With a simple and intuitive interface, Five Dice is perfect for quick entertainment while waiting in lines, during appointments, or when you have a few minutes (or hours!) to spare.

TRADITIONAL GAME MODE:

Traditional mode closely mirrors standard YAHTZEE rules. Each turn allows up to 3 rolls across 13 turns per game. Select dice to keep after each roll and aim for maximum points by scoring at least three-of-a-kind in each left-side category. Achieve 63+ points on the left side to earn a 35-point bonus. Score in categories including 3 of a Kind, 4 of a Kind, Full House, Small Straight, Large Straight, Five Dice, and Chance on the right side. Your first Five Dice (five matching dice) earns 50 points, with 100-point bonuses for each additional Five Dice. Traditional mode features dedicated leaderboards.

SEQUENTIAL GAME MODE:

In Sequential mode, scores must be assigned in this specific order:

Left Side - Ones through Sixes

Right Side - 3 of a Kind through Chance

At game start, all scoring categories appear grayed out and inactive. After the first roll of each turn, the appropriate category for that turn activates and highlights. Following three rolls, you must assign your score to the active category. The exception occurs when rolling a Five Dice—this score can be placed in the Five Dice category, then regular sequencing resumes next turn. Additional Five Dice rolls earn 100-point bonuses but must still follow the sequential scoring pattern. Sequential mode includes its own leaderboard.

RUSSIAN ROULETTE GAME MODE:

One roll per turn—then immediately assign a score, even if it means taking a zero. Strategic decision-making is key to maximizing your score—can you master it? Russian Roulette mode also features exclusive leaderboards!

PLUS GAME MODE:

Plus mode carries over unused rolls to future turns. While traditional Five Dice offers 13 turns of 3 rolls each, Plus mode starts with 13 turns but accumulates unused rolls. For example, using only 2 rolls in your first turn grants 4 rolls in your second turn. Using just 1 of those 4 gives you 6 rolls in your third turn, and so on. Plus mode maintains separate leaderboards.

SCORING:

After every roll, valid scoring options highlight in yellow for quick decision-making. You choose where to assign each roll's score. Games consist of thirteen turns with up to 3 rolls each. Between rolls, tap dice to keep them—remaining dice reroll automatically. After three rolls, you must assign your score before advancing. The initial Five Dice scores 50 points, with subsequent Five Dice awards earning 100-point bonuses. Scoring 63 or higher on the scorecard's left side unlocks a 35-point bonus.
