Application Description
Sharpen your strategic thinking with this engaging and relaxing board game! Turkish Draughts, also known as Dama or Damasi, offers a unique checkers experience popular in Turkey. Unlike chess or backgammon, Turkish Draughts requires no special setup. Played on an 8x8 board, each player begins with 16 pieces, moving one square at a time diagonally. Capture opponents by jumping over them, and reach the far row to crown your pieces as kings. Enjoy online multiplayer with chat, ELO ratings, and game invitations, or play against the computer in single or two-player mode. You can even create custom game setups and save games to resume later.
Key Features of Damasi:
-
Online Multiplayer with Chat, ELO, and Invitations: Compete against friends or global opponents in real-time, engaging in friendly conversation via the in-game chat.
-
Single or Two-Player Mode: Play against a challenging AI or enjoy a local match with a friend.
-
Custom Game Setup: Design your own starting positions and create unique challenges.
-
Game Saving and Resuming: Pause and restart games effortlessly, ideal for busy schedules.
-
