Application Description
This app, Caro-Gomoku-Renju-FiveinarowgamewithstrongAI, offers a robust platform for playing various five-in-a-row games against a powerful AI or a friend. It supports four popular rule sets:
- GOMOKU Freestyle: The first player to achieve an unbroken line of five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins.
- CARO (Blocked Rule - Gomoku+): Victory requires an unbroken line of five stones that isn't blocked on both ends. Lines like XOOOOOX or OXXXXXO are not winning lines.
- GOMOKU Standard: Similar to Freestyle, but overlines (six or more stones in a row) don't result in a win.
- RENJU: To balance the inherent advantage of the first player (Black/X), additional rules are implemented:
- No Double Three: Black cannot create two separate lines of three unbroken black stones.
- No Double Four: Black cannot create two separate lines of four unbroken black stones.
- No Overlines: Six or more consecutive black stones are prohibited.
The app boasts an exceptionally intelligent AI with adjustable difficulty levels, ranging from easy to extremely challenging. Other features include:
- Zoom in/out functionality.
- Two-player mode and AI mode.
- Last move and threat line highlighting.
- Unlimited undo capability.
