Application Description
Canfield Solitaire is a popular and engaging solitaire game that challenges players to strategize and organize their cards effectively. The primary objective of this game is to successfully arrange all 52 cards into the four foundations. To achieve this, you must place the cards onto the foundations in a specific order according to their suit and rank, starting from the initial rank that is dealt at the beginning of the game. The sequence wraps from King to Ace if necessary, allowing for continuous play.
In Canfield Solitaire, you have the flexibility to move either the top card or a sequence of cards from one Tableau pile to another. This move is permissible if the top card of the receiving Tableau pile is either one rank higher than the card being moved, or if the card being moved is a King being played onto an Ace, and the colors of the cards must differ. Additionally, if both the Reserve pile and a Tableau pile are empty, you can place any card that you can normally move into the empty pile, providing a strategic advantage.
To keep the game flowing, you can click on the stock pile located in the top left corner to deal new cards, ensuring you have a continuous supply to work with. Mastering Canfield Solitaire requires a keen eye for detail and an understanding of how to best utilize the cards at your disposal.
