Application Description
The rhythmic pulse of drums, the blare of horns—the call to a warrior's dance has begun.
Born into hardship, forged by ambition, your moment to craft your legend arrives. Will your story be etched in triumph or tragedy?
Your journey unfolds across vast oceans and fiery forests. Find solace under starlit skies, discover love amidst a land rich in tradition and faith, yet scarred by conflict and chaos.
Embrace the roles of scout, assassin, and warrior. Through cunning and strength, forge your path to heroism. Engage in debates with tribal leaders, duel with formidable champions, and witness the gods' judgment upon your people.
"By Crom" is a 75,000-word historical-fantasy interactive fiction by Fionn Graham, where your choices shape the narrative. This text-based adventure—free of graphics and sound effects—relies on the boundless power of your imagination.
- Choose your protagonist: male or female, trans or cis, bi, straight, gay, or asexual.
- Discover romance with a combat instructor, a trusted advisor, and a member of the royal clan.
- Unravel betrayals and clandestine affairs, and search for long-lost family.
- Craft battle strategies, orchestrate daring prison escapes, navigate treacherous storms at sea, and ride with the wind through forests and hills.
- Accept bribes, and become entangled in deadly conspiracies, assassinations, and cover-ups.
- Choose your destiny: champion of the innocent, or architect of widespread destruction.
