In the year 2XXX, a mysterious virus ravages Earth, causing a bizarre illness scientists dub the "zombie" plague. This pathogen triggers horrific mutations, transforming humans into mindless zombies with distorted physiques. The infected are drawn to noise and the scent of human blood.

You are a survivor in this post-apocalyptic nightmare. To protect your cherished home and fellow survivors, you must build a fortified base with multiple defensive layers. Strategically placed defense towers are key to reinforcing your stronghold and ensuring its safety.

At each level's start, you will see the 8x8 grid play area and the predetermined monster route. Your task is to use puzzle-piece-shaped wall fragments to redirect this path, forcing monsters through your defensive tower gauntlets to be eliminated. Success hinges on defending your home from the onslaught.

Your home is stationed at a fixed location on the grid. You can place your puzzle pieces anywhere, provided you leave at least one open space in every row.

Each level consists of 6 waves of monster assaults. Initially, you choose one of two tower cards, which then appear in your playable area alongside your puzzle pieces. You place these cards on the grid before the action begins. After each wave, you can select additional cards, choosing from new tower types or a stat card that buffs all your existing towers.
