Age of History Africa is a global, turn-based strategy game where your objective is to conquer the African continent. With 436 distinct regions to control, you'll employ strategic maneuvers to capture territories, besiege enemy capitals, and develop your infrastructure to achieve ultimate dominance.

Engaging Gameplay

Age of History Africa's gameplay is both beginner-friendly and masterfully challenging. Sharpen your strategic thinking, diplomatic skills, and strive to become the ultimate conqueror. Featuring over 436 regions, 223 unique civilizations, and diverse game modes and campaigns, the game offers addictive gameplay enhanced by stylish minimalist graphics and realistic elements.

Game Mechanics

Before each round, players submit their orders, limited by their available Movement Points. Civilizations execute actions in a randomized turn order at the start of each round.

Map and Territories

Your capital is paramount. Losing your capital for three consecutive turns leads to your civilization's dissolution. Capturing an enemy capital grants control of all its provinces. Capitals provide a +15% defensive and offensive bonus and are fully equipped with all buildings.

Neutral provinces are transparent, while colored provinces indicate ownership by other civilizations. The map is zoomable; double-tap to reset to the standard view. A warning exclamation mark appears in the top right corner of the minimap if the map is not at the standard scale.

Economy and Population Management

Use the Economy and Population buttons to view individual province values. The diplomacy button allows you to check ownership and engage in diplomatic interactions.

Treasury Management

Income tax, based on your civilization's total population and economy, contributes to your treasury. Military upkeep, higher for naval units than land units, deducts from your treasury.

Orders: Normal View

• Move: Transfer units between your provinces or attack other civilizations.
• Recruit: Hire units from a province, incurring monetary costs and population reduction.
• Build: Construct buildings in provinces, incurring costs.
• Disband: Remove units to reduce military upkeep.
• Vassal: Establish a vassal state with another civilization.
• Annex: Reclaim a vassal state under your direct control.

Orders: Diplomacy View

• War: Declare war on another civilization.
• Peace: Propose a peace agreement.
• Pact: Offer a non-aggression pact (five rounds, cancellable with notice).
• Alliance: Form an alliance for mutual military support. Use the War order to inform allies of your targets.
• Kick: Terminate an existing alliance.
• Support: Provide financial aid to another civilization.

Building Types

• Fort: Provides a defensive bonus to a province.
• Watchtower: Reveals enemy army numbers in adjacent provinces.
• Port: Enables naval unit movement. Naval units can return to any land province, regardless of port presence.
